Remember, you're taking about Scott County here. Reed may be the coach up until the last day to announce the coaching assignments, and then she may be replaced at the last minute. It's happened more than one time in the county...and remember the Godsey fiasco, where the caoch may be replaced AFTER the season has already started!!

Smith is being offered the 7th & 8th grade job, and took it.. obviously & helping coach jv or varsity [ not really sure ] She left because her husband is trying to get a job as well and they only live about 10 minutes away and of course their kids will be going to Gate City.. seems to me like a good idea. Good luck to Kelly Smith. .... anyone know who's gonna become the head volleyball & basketball coach now? haha

Even though they only live 10 minutes away, maybe they will send their kids to her alma mater.
